Do you require a deposit?
Yes, in order to secure your booking in my diary, I ask for a £100 deposit. Once this has been received, I'll email you letting you know that your wedding is firmly fixed in my diary. The remaining balance isn't due until one calendar month before your wedding date.

What's the online meeting/consultation for?
This informal chat is the perfect opportunity for you to meet me and work out if I'd be a good fit for you.. Basically, make sure that I'm not weird! We'll discuss your wedding day plans and ask questions. Be prepared to tell the story of how you met & fell in love, because that's the story I want to tell through the photos of your wedding!

Why would you recommend the pre-wedding portrait session?
This will allow you the opportunity to experience being the centre of attention prior to your big day. This is really useful, especially if being in front of the makes you feel slightly nervous.
This session would take place at any time between booking and the day of your wedding at a mutually convenient time and location. The photos could also be super handy when designing your wedding invitations!

Can you recommend any other wedding suppliers?
Of course! I've worked in the wedding industry for over 13 years alongside an abundance of suppliers, so if you'd like suggestions to help you find your perfect celebrant, band, DJ, videographer, magician, ceilidh, florist etc, I'm more than happy to offer you some suggestions!

Do you travel?
I'm always happy to travel far and wide to capture special weddings. My prices include travel expenses around the North West of England (including the Lake District, Yorkshire, Cheshire and Lancashire). When you enquire via the contact page, let me know where you plan to get married and I'll be able to give you a bespoke price for additional travel costs if necessary.

How late do you stay into the evening?
Some photographers leave just after the first dance. With my full day package, I'll stay as late as the party is going, so if the dance floor is full and people are having fun, I'll be there to capture it.

Are you insured.
Yes, I have public liability insurance.
If your venue would like to see a copy, please ask them to contact me.

Do you have backup equipment?
Yes, I always carry backups of everything including cameras & lenses. My cameras also allow me to save your files to two separate memory cards every time I take a photo, greatly increasing the safety of your photographs.

How long will we have to wait to receive the photos?
Within 48 hours of your wedding, you'll receive a dozen or so"sneak previews" to share on social media and among your friends and family. I'll then get to work on editing the remaining images and get those delivered to you via a secure online gallery within 4-6 weeks.
You can then save, send and print the images freely.

How do we book you?
Head to my Contact page, fill in the quick contact form and we can get the ball rolling. We can organise a chat to make sure we are a perfect fit, then if you want to book - I'll send you a contract and once that (and the deposit) has been returned, you'll be officially booked in with me! Easy as that!
