Hi, I'm Alistair.
I'm an award winning Leeds wedding photographer, husband, father, musician, dog-dad, hiker and coffee-lover, living in Leeds, but with strong ties to The North of England and the beautiful Lake District.
I travel all over Yorkshire and further afield to capture the special day of joyous couples with my documentary and storytelling approach to wedding photography as your day naturally unfolds! If you’re looking for wedding photos that are full of human connection and genuine moments, then you’re in the right place! My style is 95% documentary, which means I quietly capture all the real stuff whilst you focus on having the best time with your loved ones.
The other 5%? That’s where we take a short break at some point during your action-packed day for some relaxed, natural portraits, with no awkward posing or fake smiles. Just a little breathing space in the day to enjoy a quiet moment together as newlyweds!

I want you to look back at your wedding photos and remember all the awesome things that happened, not all the things your photographer made you do.
For that reason, I’m very hands off when it comes to documenting a wedding. I’ll more than happily offer advice and suggestions when needed, and am more than happy to gently guide you and your guests through group portraits, but on the whole, your gallery will be filled with candid photos of moments that ACTUALLY happened. Apart from a VERY short and relaxed portrait session, your gallery will be stuffed with images of you and your guests having the best time, as if I wasn’t even there.

Getting married further afield? No problem! I travel across the North of England, the Lake District and the whole of the UK, and UK-wide travel is included in my full day package.
